Rick founded Merrion Structured Investments (MSI) in 2010 with the goal of creating a premier independent third party provider of Structured Investments exclusively for institutional investors.

Rick’s establishment of MSI follows a 22 year career on Wall Street.  From 1985 to 1994, Rick held various senior positions at Lehman Brothers including European Head of Structured New Issue Derivatives.  In 1994, Rick joined Bank of America where he became head of the Bank’s Liability Management Group and subsequently Global Head of Structured Credit Products.  Most recently, Rick joined HSBC in 2001 where he served as the Bank’s Global Head of Structured Credit Products until 2007.

Rick graduated from Amherst College in 1984 with majors in Classics and History.  Among several charitable endeavors, Rick serves as the Chairman of the Foundation for Catholic Education Scholarship Fund in the Diocese of Metuchen, New Jersey.
